Asha Series To Resurrect Nokia-Will This Work Out For Nokia?

Nokia Strengthens The Asha Series Of Smartphones To Retrieve Their Long Lost Glory

Have To Admit--Symbian Has Never Looked Better!!!!

Nokia was on a very successful path on the smartphone market, with each of their phones attaining lots of anticipation and acceptance. Nokia reigned its supremacy in smartphone market till very recently. It was due to the increasing popularity of one cool OS - the very own 'Android'.
"The Goliath had to eventually loose to The David".-
Reason's Simple: Nokia did nothing to prevent uprising Android.
Hence Nokia lost its glorious smartphone dominance and other rivals started gaining the market. Apple iOS and Android streamed to the top of best selling list while Nokia had to suffer greatly in terms of shares. They can only watch in despair. As Nokia kept on loosing their hold in the space.Even The alliance with Windows haven't worked out as LUMIA is yet to bloom.

But Fear Not!!!!
Nokia Hasn't Yet Given Up!!

The New Asha series have landed with some great hopes. Slowly claming the Feature phone sales. Asha 300 is among the top 10 best selling smartphones in Asia. Slowly Asha phones are on the rise.Nokia is still targeting sub $2000 category with feature phones.Currently the Asha series are no match for the droids or i phones. But if they can pump up the volume and bring  newer and more powerful phone with advanced Symbian Software/ Microsoft Windows, they could well jump back to their old successful path. Asha has great potential. Its increasing demand explains everything. Nokia Asha has found a place in smartphone market. Now All Nokia has to do is improve and succeed.
The rise in Asha sales and strong performance at NSN may buy Nokia some time. Analyst Hakan Wranne at Swedbank, who has a “buy” rating for Nokia, said Thursday that while Nokia’s smartphone business is a “complete mess ” fears that the company will run out of cash look overplayed. “The danger of an acute cash problem is over,” Mr. Wranne said.
