Nvidia Floods The GPU Market With More And More Kepler Cards-Giving No Gap For AMD To Strike Back

New GTX 650 Ti is supposed to fill the gap behind GTX 660Ti. It will feature a GK106 architecture with trimmed performance. 

Feature 576 cores and 24 raster operation units, it will be using a different memory interface with 1-2GB GDDR5 128bit unlike GTX 660 (Non ti).

Core clock would be maintained at 960MHz which is lower than that of GTX 650 (1058MHz) and there would be no Boost clock .So you are shit stuck with a stock 960MHz. The Good thing is that its memory run at much faster rate of 5.4GHz speed. It is powered by a 6-pin pcie connector with max TDP of 75-85W.

Launching on 9th October .Pricing of card will fall somewhere to $149 range. It will surely be a tough competitor for AMD. What AMD had which Nvidia didn't was simply efficiency per money. Its better to buy a AMD card than a Nvidia card earlier as AMD proved to be highly power efficient. 

But with the new Kepler series Nvidia learned to tackle the situation, coordinating Power with Efficiency.

How Does this Beast Cools Its Hot Head...

The image clearly depicts how the Windforce 5X technique works on cooling this card.

It includes Five 40mm Fans due to size restrictions jointed with screws and on the opposite side there is an open vent to drive air. Theory works fine as the fans rotate at a rate of 10,000+RPM, driving the heat away from the sink. One major progress is that even at 80% fan speed the FAN NOISE is not at all annoying. Also This beast uses a 300 W TDP wattage. It is not a big problem as we can see how gigabyte enforcd the cooling system for such an extreme overclocking.

The Windforce 5X 7970 beats the shit out of GTX 680 and GHz Edition 7970 even with the former overclocked to 1200MHz. in Every benchmarks like and games 7970 SOC perfomed 10-20% better than GTX 680 SOC.

So we finally have a glimpse at a special gene of GPU the Windforce 5X enabled Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 Super Overclocked. This card is priced at $500. Everyone must be eagerly waiting to get their hands on this slick card but here is the

It was evident that it closely resembles GTX 670 with minimal differences, Notably on Bus Width . So it was almost certain that it will be priced nearer to GTX 670. Actually it was priced near it.
