AMD Tuned 7950's BIOS To Counter GTX 660 Ti- Also With Lowered Prices
AMD's new contender for the Mid-Range King GTX 660 Ti will be a HD 7950 with tuned BIOS. Also the great news is that the price will be lowered to $299-$315 range from the $349 state. This is not something new. We all seen the Arrival of the GHz Edition of 7970 after 670 has been released. The same tactics is also applied here.

AMD says that the new BIOS ROM file released for 7950 will be available for all Radeon HD 7950 with reference design only. New file increases the core frequency from 800Mhz to 850Mhz and a boost upto 925Mhz. The remaining features are unaffected. Newly produced cards will have these changes.
